THE INSPIRING SOUND OF UGA NOTEWORTHY

ABOUT NOTEWORTHY
Founded in 1988 in Athens, GA, Noteworthy is still UGA's only treble a cappella ensemble. Each member is passionate about achieving vocal excellence and riveting performance, making it easier for the group to remain unified and student-led.
Throughout the years, Noteworthy has jumped to the top of collegiate charts with multiple selections in BOCA (Best of Collegiate a Cappella) and nominations for the CARA awards.
In 2013, Noteworthy received two awards in the regional quarterfinals of Varsity Vocals' International Championship of Collegiate a Cappella: Best Vocal Percussionist (awarded to junior Erin Notarthomas), and Third Place Ensemble.
In 2017, Noteworthy received 2nd place in the regional quarterfinals of Varsity Vocals' International Championship of Collegiate a Cappella and moved on to the semifinals. This is the first time Noteworthy has been able to move on to the semifinals.
